GW's autumn day collection consist of regenerated classic military and hunter style tailoring. Our silhouette will be a slim fit with the contrast of the organic fluidity of the statement knit pieces. Decadence will be achieved through the textures created by the distressing of fabrics and knit wear.
The seasonal colour pallet will be autumnal consisting of rich woody browns, deep blood red, mustard, lifted by light ashy beige and blue.
GW's Winter day collection will consist of statement outer wear and complex knit pieces. Garments will be bound with leather tabs and belts to create a restrained look. Again knit , leather and woven fabrics will be combined to create a variety in texture and colour. The collection will display the barbaric and fierce side of GW's personality. Our winter colour pallet ranges from Deep muted grey and blue, marine blue , green and bitter frosty shades.
Our evening collection shows the suave and alluring side of Gwilym Wolf, it would also have a classic yet urbane attitude . The silhouette is slim fitted, elegant yet masculine. The colour pallet ranges from coal black, midnight blue, deep plum purples and mossy greens.
We source up-cycled materials for our accessories to achieve a raw, rustic quality.
One of our influences is Pamela Love, who's primordial claws and skulls deliver the savage,hunter personality of Gwilym Wolf. Other influences include Colleen Choi and Joji Kojima.
Our leather accessories will also be made of up-cycled cut offs and sections of old garments/bags.
This way we will achieve the organic, distressed aspect of Gwilym Wolf's personality.
Above are images we took at 'Marigolds' costume hire in Cardiff. We came across some beautiful garments and accessories which really captured the essence of Gwilym Wolf, from these we will take qualities and construction methods and transfer them into our designs, again to achieve that regenerated view on a classic look.
